Revealing fractionality in the Rössler system by recurrence quantification analysis

Abstract This study discusses the results of a Recurrence quantification analysis ( RQA ) Rössler system with fractional order $$q_1$$ q 1 derivative in first equation. The changes slightly range $$q_1 \in \langle 0.9,1.0\rangle$$ ∈ ⟨ 0.9 , 1.0 ⟩ . Even such relatively small derivative, significant dynamics are observed between bifurcation diagrams determined for parameter Nevertheless, as decreases one can notice preservation some structures diagram, particular main periodic windows integer-order system. shows clear differences various regular integer and only slight these caused by an increase system’s fractionality. Nonetheless, selecting appropriate recurrence variables it is possible to expose occurring under influence fractionality approach allows detection character through time series taken from regions.
